Review the style of your writing

1. Have you used the passive voice, where appropriate, to place the emphasis on the action rather than the performer of the action?
2. Have you avoided the use of contracted verb forms?
3. Have you used subordination where appropriate to explain the relationships between concepts, ideas, entities and states of affairs.
4. Have you avoided colloquial expressions?
5. Have you been careful not to be too cute or journalistic?  (e.g. `Ting, ting goes the tram as it carries busy workers to their jobs or housewives to the market.')
